As the President and Founder of A Woman's Place Ministries/Life Impact Network, Pat Layton plays many roles. In addition to her work at the center, she is a national speaker, writer and trainer. She has produced a daily radio segment, "A Word for Women" and writes articles for newspapers, newsletters, and ministry media, including Focus on the Family and Concerned Women for America. Her personal story was also published by Baker Books, appearing in Loved by Choice. 

In January of 2008, LifeWay released her Post-Abortion Healing Bible Study called Surrendering the Secret. Ministry leaders all over the nation are embracing this powerful ministry tool.

Pat has received numerous awards and honors both from peers and state officials. She is a member of CareNet (a network of pregnancy care centers), CLASS (The Christian Leaders, Authors & Speakers Services), and Florida Governor’s Media Service Review Team for the Abstinence Education Plan, Heartbeat International (association of education and pregnancy service providers, the Governor’s Partnership for Adoption, and the American Association of Christian Counselors).

Family First honored Pat by giving her the Power of One Award, the Florida State House of Representatives recognized Pat with the Promise of Excellence Award and the Christian Leaders Authors and Speakers organization gave her the honor of Best Promotional Materials Award.

Pat keeps busy as a speaker and writer as well as wife, mother of three, and a grandmother of five. As she continues to write and speak, her determined purpose is to experience God more passionately each and every day of her life, and for that passion to make a Kingdom difference in the lives of others.
